How Does OnAlert™ Work?
The OnAlert™ by Silent Power is a very simple concept. It attaches to your electrical panel and connects to the critical circuits that the business or home needs available when there’s a power outage. When the “grid” or solar array becomes unavailable, relays within the system open and close redirecting the power to draw from the storage system within the OnAlert™ unit. This all happens in a matter of milliseconds or roughly 30 thousandths of a second. That’s about 20 times faster than a blink of an eye.
The storage system within the OnAlert™ consists of AGM batteries providing 4000 to 8000 watts of power. These batteries are maintenance free, emission free and automatically recharge either through solar energy or when the electricity returns. This feature enables the business or residence to forget about rolling blackouts or storm outages for years to come without worrying about noise, refueling or carbon monoxide/exhaust fumes. It’s a quiet, safe and eco-friendly way to have standby power for your business or home.
